Programs & Requirement

• Express Entry:

Express Entry is a system for managing applications for permanent residence for skilled workers. To be eligible for Express Entry, applicants must:

1. Meet the eligibility criteria for one of the three programs managed by Express Entry: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, or the Canadian Experience Class.
2. Have their language proficiency assessed and score the required minimum on either the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) language tests.
3. Have their foreign education credentials assessed by an approved organization and obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report.
4. Meet the minimum required work experience in a skilled occupation as determined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
5. Be able to show sufficient funds to support themselves and their family members during their stay in Canada.

 

• Global Talent Stream:

The Global Talent Stream is a program that allows Canadian employers to hire skilled foreign workers for specialized occupations in order to fill skills gaps in the Canadian labor market. To be eligible for the Global Talent Stream, applicants must:

1. Be referred by a designated partner organization.
2. Have a job offer from a Canadian employer in a specialized occupation.
3. Meet the minimum required work experience in the specialized occupation.
4. Meet the minimum language requirements for the occupation.
5. Meet the educational requirements for the occupation.
6. Meet the requirements for any relevant occupational or professional certification or licensure.

 

• Temporary Foreign Worker Program

The Temporary Foreign Worker Program allows Canadian employers to hire foreign workers to fill temporary labor and skill shortages when there are no Canadian citizens or permanent residents available for the job. To be eligible for the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, applicants must:

1. Have a job offer from a Canadian employer for a temporary position.
2. Meet the language requirements for the job.
3. Meet the requirements for any relevant occupational or professional certification or licensure.
4. Meet the requirements for any relevant education or work experience.

 

• Caregiver Program:

 A job offer from a Canadian employer to provide care for children, seniors, or people with disabilities in the employer's home

1. Proof of language proficiency in English or French (CLB 5 for intermediate-skilled caregivers or CLB 7 for high-skilled caregivers)

2. Completion of Canadian secondary school education (or foreign equivalent)

3. Completion of a six-month caregiver training program or one year of full-time caregiver experience in the past three years

 

 

• Start-up Visa Program:

1. A letter of support from a designated organization

2. A qualifying business idea that meets the criteria of a designated organization

3. Sufficient funds to support themselves and any accompanying family members

4. Proof of language proficiency in English or French (CLB 5 in speaking, listening, reading, and writing)

 

 

• International Mobility Program:

Dependent on the specific category of the program being applied for, as each category has its own set of requirements and eligibility criteria. Some categories include intra company transfers, academic exchanges, and youth mobility. It's important to consult the Canadian government's IRCC website for complete and up-to-date information on the specific category of interest.

 

 

• Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program:

 

1. Job offer from an employer in one of Canada's four Atlantic provinces (Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, or New Brunswick)

2. A positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)

3. Proof of language proficiency in English or French (CLB 4 for intermediate-skilled workers, CLB 5 for high-skilled workers, or CLB 6 for international graduates)

4. A minimum level of education (high school diploma for intermediate-skilled workers or a post-secondary degree for high-skilled workers and international graduates)

5. Proof of sufficient funds to settle and support themselves and any accompanying family members

6. Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot:

7. A job offer from an employer in a participating rural or northern community

8. Proof of language proficiency in English or French (CLB 4 for NOC C and D occupations, or CLB 5 for NOC 0, A, and B occupations)

9. A minimum level of education (high school diploma for NOC C and D occupations or a post-secondary degree for NOC 0, A, and B occupations)

10. Proof of sufficient funds to settle and support themselves and any accompanying family members
