Programs & Requirement

  • Express Entry:

Express Entry is a system for managing applications for permanent residence for skilled workers. To be eligible for Express Entry, applicants must:

  1. Meet the eligibility criteria for one of the three programs managed by Express Entry: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, or the Canadian Experience Class.
  2. Have their language proficiency assessed and score the required minimum on either the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) language tests.
  3. Have their foreign education credentials assessed by an approved organization and obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report.
  4. Meet the minimum required work experience in a skilled occupation as determined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
  5. Be able to show sufficient funds to support themselves and their family members during their stay in Canada.

 

  • Global Talent Stream:

The Global Talent Stream is a program that allows Canadian employers to hire skilled foreign workers for specialized occupations in order to fill skills gaps in the Canadian labor market. To be eligible for the Global Talent Stream, applicants must:

  1. Be referred by a designated partner organization.
  2. Have a job offer from a Canadian employer in a specialized occupation.
  3. Meet the minimum required work experience in the specialized occupation.
  4. Meet the minimum language requirements for the occupation.
  5. Meet the educational requirements for the occupation.
  6. Meet the requirements for any relevant occupational or professional certification or licensure.

 

  • Temporary Foreign Worker Program

The Temporary Foreign Worker Program allows Canadian employers to hire foreign workers to fill temporary labor and skill shortages when there are no Canadian citizens or permanent residents available for the job. To be eligible for the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, applicants must:

  1. Have a job offer from a Canadian employer for a temporary position.
  2. Meet the language requirements for the job.
  3. Meet the requirements for any relevant occupational or professional certification or licensure.
  4. Meet the requirements for any relevant education or work experience.
